After being away from the gym for two weeks I am starting back at it. During the summer I would wake up at 5 a.m. in order to get an hour in at the gym. Once school started back I now go after work around 3:30 p.m. This is harder for me because I wake up at 4:30 a.m. to get myself and the kids ready then work all day.
Many people have a misconception about the work day of a teacher, and I won’t get on my soap box, but I do walk around all day in a classroom full of 27 teenagers (give or take). So that’s 27 people I am responsible for every fifty minutes which gives me 130 students (give or take).
At the end of the day I’m so beat down due to teaching that going to the gym is a little harder, but I know the results I want and what I have to do to get them.
I sat down Saturday and planned out my meals and workouts for the week. Since today is Sunday I will meal prep my lunch and dinner and will also pack my gym backpack in order to save time Monday morning.
My goal for my meals this week will be cutting out meat, increasing my water intake, increasing my fiber, and focusing on each body part I’m working out that day.
For lunch this week I cooked up some Enchilada Zucchini Boats
And for dinner this week I will be eating Sweet Potato Street Tacos with corn tortillas
Now just know I am not a food blogger and will probably never be so my photos will not be the nice and neat photos you get on Pinterest, but hey this is what I made and it’s good.
